The hydraulic pump mainly relies on the movement to bring about a change in the volume of the pump chamber, so that the fluid is compressed to make the fluid have pressure energy. The prerequisite for this movement must be that the pump chamber has a sealed volume change.


Initial wear stage:

During the manufacturing process of the parts, the metal surface of the part has a certain degree of microscopic unevenness (surface roughness). The ellipticity and non-straightness of the shaft or hole exist. When the metal surface is initially moved relative to each other, the pump parts move relatively high speed. There is a slight frictional wear between the friction pairs, and the parts are in the initial wear stage.


Normal wear stage:

After a period of running-in, a new, higher-precision roughness is generated between the friction pairs, and the wear rate is slowed down. Enter a relatively long period of stable use.


Abnormal wear stage:

In this stage, the metal material reaches the rated life of the fatigue cycle, and the fatigue layer is generated on the metal surface. Under the special use condition of the high temperature and high pressure of the pump, the surface layer of the metal is prone to granular detachment. Therefore, the wear increases sharply, and finally the parts are caused  invalid.
